So in the durability department on the upper portion I am dissatisfied but ease of use and staying on power I am happy. I do feel they should last longer as she is standing around in a pasture not tearing them up on a trail or anything like that. Since my husband is the one that deals with them he decided because of ease of use it is worth it to him to replace more often so we did. We have had these for 5 months and we ordered her a new pair today. The downfall on these boots is that the upper portion is not durable at all. My husband is the one that puts them on and off and he loves the ease of that as we have had other boots for other horses that you always had to mess with. The best thing about them is that they are easy to put on and take off and they stay on. The bottoms look heavy duty for trails etc its just not what we have them for. We walk her in them and she is comfortable. She just wears them in the pasture and is not super active. Our horse has navicular and we put pads in these boots and they make her more comfortable. They have always been so helpful! We had used these in the past so went back to this and our farrier did say to use them. Smartpak was so helpful and let us return them.
